Collaboration
Was signed the Memorandum of Collaboration between Institute of Biotechnology and THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS, KEW UNITED KINGDOM.
Currently, cooperation continues between the laboratory of plant biotechnology at the IB of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic and Kew in replenishing the collection of the Institute’s seed bank from various regions of the country. After preliminary preparation, duplicates of plant species are sent to Kew.

- Seed Conservation Network. Building capacity in the Kyrgyz Republic to conserve its most precious natural resource.

- Putting seeds to good use. Kyrgyzstan explores the pharmacological potential of its native flora (2018).

В рамках сотрудничества и реализации проекта планируется провести молекулярно-генетические исследования и скрининг специфичных генов хозяйственно ценных растений, в том числе диких предков, местных и стародавних сортов как источников доноров для селекции.

- cultivating mycelium and mushrooms;
- conservation and processing of agricultural products;
- struggle with disease of sugar beet.
